It’s my life

Is the Life we live truly ours?

May be it will be ours if we can decide to keep the life for as long as we want to.

Isaiah 40:7-8 (AMP) The grass withers, the flower fades, when the breath of the Lord blows upon it; surely [all] the people are like grass, the grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.

We can only trust and hand our Lives over to God who can see tomorrow, who can keep our Lives and even raise it up even in death.

Jesus Christ has paid the ultimate prize with His life for all that will believe and accept Him, He can keep our lives now and in the hereafter. This is evident in the fact that He is only one who in history died and rose again.

In John 2:22 (AMP) we see that when Jesus rose from the dead His disciples remembered that He told them He will rise after death and they believe.

So you see it is possible you doubt or you are not sure if you should believe Jesus, you are not alone in this just as the disciples of Jesus at a time, but what are you still doing disbelieving after He has risen from the dead!

Or may be you believe but you’d rather not be a disciple and you’d follow from afar, that will only put you in a more difficult state, remember Peter.

Get up stand up for Jesus, He is the risen Lord and He is alive to keep you from the final death and to justify and glorify you.

For whoever is bent on saving his [temporal] life [his comfort and security here] shall lose it [eternal life]; and whoever loses his life [his comfort and security here] for My sake shall find it [life everlasting] Matthew 16:25 (AMP).

Please reflect on this as Easter Holidays approaches…
